How to Use The Knee Continous Passive Motion Machine (Kinetec Spectra)
Welcome to our easy-to-follow guide on how to use the Kinetec Spectra Knee CPM machine. This innovative device is a game-changer in knee rehabilitation, offering relief and support to those recovering from knee surgeries or injuries. In this guide, we'll walk you through the simple steps to operate the machine, ensuring a smooth and effective recovery process.
Four Easy Step Guide
Step 1: Starting the Flexion Adjustment
Press the Right arrow (flexion button) on the remote. Wait for the Flexion degree to start blinking on the screen. This indicates you're ready to adjust the angle.
Step 2: Setting the Flexion Degree
Use the Up arrow to increase the flexion degree one digit at a time. Once you reach the desired degree, confirm by pressing the Right arrow again.
Step 3: Starting the Machine
Press the Start button to begin the therapy session.
Step 4: Adjusting Flexion Degree Over Time
Based on your doctor's recommendation, increase the flexion degree by 5 every 2-3 days. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for this adjustment.
